The Ohio Valley
Project is a year long initiative to become the
kindest community on Earth.
Be the Blessing started in Wheeling, WV, smack dab in the middle of the community known as the Upper Ohio Valley. Our ultimate goal is to create a kinder world, but we thought we would start with home.
So, from September 2009 to September 2010 we are inviting everyone who calls the Upper Ohio Valley home to make Be the Blessing their personal mission statement. If we all do... we really will live in the kindest community on earth, and that is something to be proud of.
As part of this project we are also setting out to raise 1 million dollars for the Free Wheelchair Mission in that same time period.
On September 11, 2010, we will have a big community wide party to celebrate who we have become (the kindest people on earth) and what we have done (getting 20,000 people off the ground and into wheelchairs).
So make it your mission and you can make the Ohio Valley the greatest place to live on earth.
